Alfie (that's me...) was born in Wallsend in the North East of England and has worked in a variety of jobs - including disgruntled actor and would-be spy, like his hero Mike Rant.

He is also a performance poet and freelance drama worker in schools and universities, as well as a community theatre worker.

​He currently lives in Thirsk in North Yorkshire.

He is available for writing and theatre workshops as well as talks on writing and for festivals and conferences.
